At Seniors Helping Seniors® Greensboro & High Point, NC, we have a passion for meeting the needs of seniors in a way that provides both dignity and a sense of camaraderie. Our owner(s) Michael Greth, Debbie Frisbee firmly believe we can do that through serving seniors in our community, which includes: Greensboro, High point, Jamestown, and surrounding areas.
Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services are available throughout the county of Guilford, which include the Greensboro, High Point, Jamestown, Oak Ridge and Summerfield areas.
Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home-care service fosters relationships between seniors seeking employment and seniors who need help with daily non-medical personal needs, household tasks and chores to continue living independently in their own homes.
Michael Greth of Jamestown, N.C. recently retired from a more than 30-year career in the corporate food management industry. During his career, Michael completed many leadership training courses with The Culinary Institute of America and served as a Corporate Trainer / District Manager with a national food service company. Michael still wanted to work and to launch a second career, but he wanted his work to benefit the community. With his wife Debbie’s parents aging in place in their home in Hot Springs and Debbie’s recent experience helping a friend care for her mother after a stroke, they realized the seniors in their community could benefit from Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services.
“I have worked in the service industry most of my life,” Michael said. “As I have grown older, I have gained a more clear understanding of the needs of aging people.”
Opening a Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care franchise offered exactly what Michael and Debbie were seeking.
“Seniors Helping Seniors® is unique in that it creates a win-win situation for senior citizens,” Michael said. “Active seniors can still contribute to the world and supplement their retirement income, and seniors who need help to continue living independently in their homes can feel comfortable receiving help from those who also are experiencing the aging process.”
Debbie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education in 1991 from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. Debbie has worked as an elementary school teacher, caterer and self-employed beauty consultant for BeautiControl.
Michael and Debbie both grew up in North Carolina, Michael in Charlotte and Debbie in Hot Springs. Their daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and James of Greensboro have three sons, Andrew, Alex and Aaron. Debbie’s parents, Edward and Iona Frisbee, live in Hot Springs. Michael and Debbie have lived in Jamestown for the last 27 years. They share their home with Jasper, an Australian Shepherd.
Debbie is an active member of Covenant Methodist United Church in High Point. Since 1999, she has been a volunteer with the North Carolina Extension Master Gardner Program and currently chairs its Social Committee. Debbie also volunteers at the Triad Stage Theatre in downtown Greensboro and is involved in fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis research.
Michael enjoys restoring and driving old British cars and is active in various classic British Car Clubs.

About Our Founders
Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care service was co-founded by Kiran and Philip Yocom in order to realize Kiran’s personal mission of providing care for those who can’t care for themselves. Before coming to the United States from India, Kiran worked with Mother Teresa for 14 years.
How We've Grown
From our roots in Pennsylvania, and our first match in 1998, Seniors Helping Seniors® has grown to include hundreds of locations in the US and Internationally.
